We’ve camped at tons of camp sites, some insignificant and some that are special. The special ones are those we will return to every chance we get and Rooiputs is one of those camps for us.
A firm favourite amongst Kgalagadi regulars, Rooiputs is an unfenced camp on the Botswana side of the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park, only 20km from the Twee Rivieren/Two Rivers entrance gate.
Polentswa is a small unfenced camp on the Botswana side of the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park. This camp has only 3 camp sites all overlooking the Polentswa pan.
Not all of us are true campers at heart, which is probably why the “glamping” trend has made such a big impact on the travel industry over the past few years.
