The Mabuasehube area in Botswana is a wildlife reserve consisting of several pans offering basic camping accommodation. Normally big game concentrations can be seen on the pans and the area is renowned for its lions frequently visiting the unfenced campsites.
We’ve camped at tons of camp sites, some insignificant and some that are special. The special ones are those we will return to every chance we get and Rooiputs is one of those camps for us.
A firm favourite amongst Kgalagadi regulars, Rooiputs is an unfenced camp on the Botswana side of the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park, only 20km from the Twee Rivieren/Two Rivers entrance gate.
Polentswa is a small unfenced camp on the Botswana side of the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park. This camp has only 3 camp sites all overlooking the Polentswa pan.
